as moonbeams sing sweetly to darkness
across the distance her whispers echo
like a gentle melody in the midst of silence
moonbeams sing sweetly to darkness
as her solitude wanders to a felt absence
from its silvern ambience comforts flow
as moonbeams sing sweetly to darkness
across the distance hear her whispers echo

  2. Moon subject in both poetry and songs is always a welcome read or listen Destiny. When done with gentle thought. Harvest Moon by Neil Young and The Moonbeam Song by Harry Nilsson are beautiful listens. As your poem here is a beautiful read. 🙏🏽
