we watch the world move by
passing winds sing hello
over cities as free they fly
tempt our thoughts to follow
to reach those depths of high
from behind windows dark
the sky seems far a touch
caged in worlds of glass
to drop to land to stand
even earth seen unseen
from behind windows dark
upon this glass
a touch of light
as true its shine
same soft its glow
so close so now
within reach
its flame
